Validation

Eligibility:

0-5 years after graduation

6-10 years after graduation

>10 years after graduation

Non-nursing credits

Transferred according to individual BSN school policy

Transferred according to individual BSN school policy

Transferred according to individual BSN school policy

Nursing credits

Credits equivalent to a minimum of 40% of the program’s nursing credit hours awarded without validation or work requirement

Credits equivalent to a minimum of 40% of the program’s nursing credit hours awarded without validation if RN has 1000 hours of nursing work experience during the past 3 years.

Validation required.  Additionally, RN must have 1000 hours of work experience in past 3 years.  Validation may be achieved by testing, escrow, or portfolio according to school policy
