TCN Lauches“You Can Make a Difference” Video Campaign

The TENNESSEE CENTER FOR NURSING is pleased to announce a new campaign with the goal of "promoting awareness of and spark an interest in nursing careers among Tennessee youth and minorities".

The TENNESSEE CENTER FOR NURSING purchased the campaign from the North Carolina Center for Nursing, who has now used the campaign for several years in their state.
Their research found: That today’s youth enter nursing for the same reason that nurses in the past have chosen nursing…"to help people or make a difference in people’s lives". Thus, North Carolina developed multiple media strategies to send the unified message to youth that "THEY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN NURSING!’

Their marketing research found: That youth already deciding on a nursing career "knew a nurse" so they designed a sub-campaign directed to nurses statewide designed to encourage nurses to talk with youth about nursing as a career.

The TENNESSEE CENTER FOR NURSING is collaborating with all health care partner organizations represented on our Board of Directors, including the Tennessee Hospital Association, to purchase the 12 ½ minute video, "Nursing: the power to make a difference…BE THE DIFFERENCE!", to launch an initiative to inform middle and high school career counselors, school nurses, health occupation teachers, and students about nursing as a career.

Order the $10.00 video – you, too, can "make a difference"
by promoting nursing as a career!
