The Honorable Diane Black

The Honorable Diane Black represents House District 45. She is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and is married with three children. Representative Black is a Registered Nurse and has her A.S.N. from Anne Arundel College in Annapolis, Maryland (1971) and B.S.N. from Belmont University. (1991). Some of Representative Black’s honors and positions held include: Rotarian of the Year 1993 by Hendersonville Rotary Club and the Gallatin Chapter of the American Cancer Society; past chair, United Way of Sumner County; board member, YMCA; Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce; American Heart Association; Gallatin Chamber of Commerce; Hendersonville League of Women Voters; past president, Leadership Sumner Alumni Association, Gallatin Toastmasters, and P.E.O.; past vice-chair, Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County. House member of the 101st through 103rd General Assemblies.
